Product Description Softly sophisticated with a clean modern profile and luxe mixture of materials, the Modern Mood Server is a stunning statement piece. The case has rounded corners, is finished on all sides and has an oval metal stretcher that goes all the way around. Crafted of Quartered Oak Veneers, the server has tactile wire-brush detailing in a serene Mink finish. The metal on the hardware and base is in a brushed warm pewter finish, and the bar pulls are wrapped in leather. The two wood doors have soft-close hinges and magnetic catches. There’s one adjustable wood shelf behind each door, and the two drawers are self-closing and feature a drop-in silver tray liner in the top drawer.

Crafted with flat cut quartered oak veneer with wire-brushed detailing, Modern Mood is presented in two finishes: Mink and Diamond. Delivering a dark, earthy brown with notes of black, Mink delivers a timeless aesthetic. A much lighter presentation is achieved with the crystal-like alabaster and pewter hues of the Diamond finish, delivering a soft sophistication.

Frame Construction Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
