YOU'RE GETTING NEW STUFF!


There’s a bunch of things we’ll run through below, scheduling, preparing for delivery etc., but we want to make sure you know the coolest part…


We open and inspect every piece of furniture that leaves our warehouse.  EVERY PIECE.  You may be thinking that sounds a bit crazy, but it gives us the opportunity to make sure everything is in perfect condition and working as it should.  It’s exciting to get new furniture in your home, and delivering something that’s damaged or doesn’t work properly is frustrating, for you and us.  So we try our best to make sure that doesn’t happen.


Now for the details:


Once your order arrives in our warehouse, our delivery coordinators will contact you to schedule a delivery date and time.


Deliveries are scheduled Monday through Saturday between 8 am and 5 pm.  You will receive a call the night before your scheduled delivery day to confirm a 2-3 hour time window.  Requests for a specific time can and will be taken on a first come first serve basis and met at every opportunity possible in order to serve you best.


Certain circumstances such as poor weather conditions or traffic may delay a stated time frame.  We will contact you in the event of this occurring to provide a better update on your time window.


WHEN WE CALL


  • Please confirm the delivery address.
  • Please pay any balance due on your account.  Our representative will review the options available to pay your balance.
  • Please include any pertinent information to ensure a successful delivery of your furniture (ex. access restrictions, elevator usage, etc.)

PRIOR TO DELIVERY/PREPARING YOUR HOME


  • Please have the area in which the furniture is being placed emptied.
  • Need to find a home for your “experienced furniture” to make room for your new purchase?  Contact our store for information on our habitat for humanity partnership to help provide those in need of a second chance.
  • Please do your best to clear a path from the entrance of your home to the area the furniture will be placed. 
  •  If for any reason your items will not fit or cannot be delivered due to access limitations an additional delivery fee may be incurred for the second attempt.  A 30% restocking fee will be charged for sale cancellation.

*Hardwood floor owners: sliding furniture on your hardwood floors may scratch or dent your floor.  Please properly protect them with felt pads or other protection devices.(We can always pick out an area rug too or just bring one you think you might like on delivery just let us know!)


DURING DELIVERY


  • You or an adult representative over the age of 18 must be on the premises during the entire delivery process.
  • Please restrain all pets for both their safety and the safety of our delivery personnel.
  • If Indiana Furniture’s delivery crew feels that a delivery cannot be made to the location of your choice within your home without incurring possible property damage, but you request to proceed, you will need to sign a limited waiver before any attempt is made to deliver your furniture.
  • Please note any problems with your furniture on your delivery ticket.

AFTER DELIVERY

CANCELING A SCHEDULED DELIVERY


  • If for some reason you cannot be available for a scheduled delivery, please notify Indiana Furniture as soon as possible to reschedule.
  • If no one is home to accept delivery, you will also need to reschedule to a new delivery date.

CUSTOMER PICKUP


  • Please notify Indiana Furniture if possible in advance of your approximate pickup time.  This will allow us to have your merchandise ready to go.
  • At the time of pickup, being your receipt and pay any balance due on your account at the main office located inside the store.  Merchandise cannot be released without full payment.
  • Indiana Furniture will assist with loading items, but you are responsible for supplying any tie down materials or protection necessary.
  • Once loaded, you are responsible for your merchandise.
  • Please report any concealed damage of boxed or wrapped merchandise within 3 days to our service department 219.465.0545 ext 232.
